New key type Fiat Ducato 2022

A client came and wanted a spare remote key to his new motorhome. It was built on Fiat Ducato 2022. No problem I thought, I have done 2022 before but then he show me his key (se photo below).

This is the first time I have seen this key on a Ducato, I have made similar to Fiat Tipo but the chip was diffent. The new Ducato have a Hightag AES transponder chip and the one that I have in stock for Tipo was a Megamos AES.

The dash was (finaly) uppdated to a new one with a color display in the middle. I had to turn this job down due to lack of keys (and maybe maybe equipment)

did you try this one from remkeys , its aes and not megamoss aes https://remkeys.com/product/fiat-dod...z-oem-remkeys/

avdi can code in a dealer ordered key and pin , autel can read some of the pins but still require dealer key

I believe that this key model is still too recent to be manufactured outside of origin. However, write to Remkeys and ask if they can provide you with a photo of the key reading with a programmer (Tango, VVDI Key tool)

I found in obdstar menu with 4A key Will try if customer decides to make make. Maybe it is same system as jeep renegade?

I see Autel Im508 has now added this, but yet to try myself, anyone done one yet?

i know autel can do key if ordered from dealer already precoded , id be sceptical that they could do precode by obd , abrites require you to read the bcm dump and they can precode from this .

Abrites won't precode a 4A chip I guess? Maybe I am wrong - just got in a Ducato 2024 which has 4A as well... I could not find a separate gateway (with 3 other customers waiting in line also not the best time to go on a big hunt) - if any info can be gathered on forehand will try to get this event-organisation-car in for a day or 2 , time to 'experiment' though won't go 'too far' . If no other feasable options are available I will just order a key from Fiat but ... have to be sure they provide pin too as I did not get any with the 500e keys I ordered and now cannot program them without disassemble of BCM (possible but I just refuse... I have official WiTech but cannot program this particular official ordered keys even though ALL options are active).

The new keys for Ducato look loke the MQB version we saw a short time ago on Tipo or Punto (? cannot remember right now) . Ducato 2022 did earlier with bcm disassemble and read immo data on bench, that works ok with Abritres

I did a 2024 Peugeot boxer ( exactly as the ducato ) akl situation , i was forced to eeprom it in order to read the data and generate a key , it 48 transponder but I couldn’t made a remote key , ive tried both delphi & marelli with no chance , customer had a remote key before ! Am I missing smth ?!

2023 precede remote with AVDi from dump and learn by obd

It was 6 months ago when I asked the support:

Unfortunately, this key is HiTag AES/PRO, which is not supported yet

In our FN022 license, you may see that Ducato is supported up to 2022 , equipped with the HITAG2 keys
