thank you, my main issue is how to get the error taken care off, the rest should ok, i know the car will start but it will have an error. to start this car, i have to finish up my work, which means the intake manifold has to be installed. i really do not want to do the job twice. i want to make sure everything is ready then i will finish it up. i have used the ktag, the clone tool.

I don't work on E series, but if you fully clone it, no need to flash.
DME protection occures due to incorrect coding ex. power class which needs working hours reset.
Some DMEs has FSC installed, you have to check them.
I know as well some E series US DMEs needs extra working on ECU board, you have to fully check what i told you.
    Good luck.
