If I shared the software, it wouldn't do you any good. It only works with this dongle from Diag-Lauter.

be careful what you claim. what you have there is a modified version of vcds software where loader has been ported inside the exe of the program. That loader pairs only to cerain interfaces. So, to be real, it is a more elaborate loader then the chinese version, nothing more

. These are the guys that claim for ages that they sell "HQ" interfaces when in fact they are just chinese clones with modified software.

There are only chinese clones, no one else does that and there is no one who sells an original dongle for 100 €.
So there are only 2 options: buy an original for around € 500 or a clone for € 100.
The difference between the clones is based on the modified software.
Some can and some can't. The chinese can't!

Edit:
And another tip: Buy your v2 diligently from aliexpress or elsewhere and try one loader after the other. I wish you much success!

hello all!
i'll try to be as short as possible:
vcds 20.4.2 interface bouth from china.
it worked great until i opened it by mistake when i was connected to internet. now, i can't open any module. communication test is ok, but, when i click on any module, nothing happend.
is there an app that i can use it to rewrite the firmware?

you can make reflash Atmega 162,you have inside folder Loader EEwriter.Use this for make reflash using USB connection.If bootloader from MCU is erase can use MiniPro for make reflash.

You need "kolimer loader 9.2" :-)

Can you still share it, maybe someone with skill can determine differences between your software and the original to see where is located the exact fix and backport it for other 405 based cables...
