Renault Clio IV unlock/renew key card

Hi,

Which tool is reliable with unlocking these? Need tested 100% solution, not answers this and this because you saw it on the coverage list.

I never had success tried KD XH and Barracuda - The card is unlocked but won't be programmed to the car

So we can add to the list Miraclone, card just stay locked after unlocking.

KDX2 unlocks them if your on about

Genuine Part Number: 285971998R (handsfree) / 285974100R (non hands free)

They read 4A ?

The question is can you program after that this card - All tools that I used unlock them but the card can't be programed

I had thread about this 2 years ago and some one wrote that RET or something like this can program them but the Smart Pro can't IMO

Clio 4 handfree unlock with Keytool max and reprog iM508 succes for me. All functions work as needed.

Use model: 285971998R for this Handfree.

I've try with hexprog, but car not accept it, state was unlocked and frequency was ok, but car wont accept it.

I unlock these card with Barracuda and KD-X2 but only tool that can programme cards on clio IV is RET ,even new cards I can only programme with RET
I try AVDI and X300 DP but card is accepted only with RET
I think that when You press Read card in RET it write something to card and that is why it work
so most time I use AVDI to unlock HFM and after that programme card with RET

Last i unlock the card with vvdi mini and also with Avdi programmer. 2 different keys!

only with programming with Avdi dont works. On the screen you see finish but key don’t works.
the same key is accept by RET.

Key tool max? Mini key tool can do this also?

This found out to be very interesting thread. Personally I will make job using aftermarket cards but I have couple OEM second hand so I thought to reuse them.

i have done it with old key tool,read hfm and programmed with k518 as akl,worked straight away

Hi.
I confirm that is possible to renew Clio IV cards, nokeyless and keyless with MK3 renew tool cheap chinese copy. But you must carefully open (cut) keycard to connect to board, and then glue it together. After that is card ready to code to car.
